i started taking birth control 2 months ago, so im not really sure how they effect my cycle. the last week of the pills are the "fake" pills. this is the time when your supposed to start you period. how long does it take for your period to start after you start the fake pills.???? im getting worried that im pregnant! i started the fake ones tuesday... its now thursday, and i still havent started my period!!!

I think it depends on the type of pills you are taking. My pills are Yasmin. It takes about 3 days of taking the placebo pills before my period starts. I think it's different with all kinds of birth control, but I wouldn't be too worried. Your system is still adjusting to the pills so after a couple more months of taking the pill properly you should be on a schedule. Mine is like clockwork now...even down to a coulpe of hours.

Well, everyone's system is different but with my and my one friend who also is on birth control, about 3-4 days after the fake pill is when you get your period. I start about Wednesday and I start taking my fake pill on Sunday.

everyone is different, but usdually you should start the period within the first three days.
but if you see you dont get it, continue to take the pills regardless, do not stop taking thrm,.
call the ob-gyn office once your new pill cycle has staerted if you see you never got your period.
but your chances of being pregnant after taking the pill after 2 or more months is 1 in 9 chances.
