I don't think you get it. Maybe you should go back to your bible. None of your post sounded Christian.

Believing in God has been an issue since time began. Not everyone will believe but that's no reason to call names or criticize others. Each person has a free will to believe or not and that right was given to us by our creator. Do you think that God assumed that everyone would have faith in His Word when he created man? He knew there would be opposition, that's why he made each one of us different, giving us a brain and a free will. You can't force others to believe. You have to live a life that reflects God in you first and then you will have the opportunity to tell people why. We accept the concept of God purely by faith and nothing more. In this day and age, it's hard to have faith in anything. So why would you expect people to believe in an all powerful God and go through some of the tragedies of life? There is a reason for everything that happens in life, good and bad. A true believer will take every situation and use it to praise God. You should pray for the people that are upsetting you and let Him use you to show how a real Christian handles confrontation, not by talking rude and nasty to them. Good luck in your search for peace. Try reading your Bible instead of yelling at those that don't.

Sad Blue Eyes,

I am speaking as a reactionary Catholic so take what I say in that context.

I of course agree that there are compelling reasons to believe, even outside of Revelation, that a god exist. I agree that there are good reasons to believe that the Revelation is correct.

However, while people may disbelieve for a variety of reasons whether logical or emotional, I don't think that someone is mentally imbalanced only because they don't believe in God. It is an issue about which reasonable people can honestly disagree.

You'll notice many more of them are vicious and hysterical then we are. Yes, there is a reason for that. But while I think we have to be strong and sometimes sharp with them, I don't think that is everyone: just those who act like they need it!

This is how I see it. If there is a God something had to of created him. Either we are here and thats it. Or there is a higher power which created us and there is one beyond him/her. Its infinite. We are to become Gods in our own way once we create robots that think and act on their own and are able to learn.

Then we can send the robots to another planet and then those thinking robots will create more robots and create their own rules which they believe society shall follow.

Have you ever noticed that our laws of government the basic laws. Murder, stealing etc. Are somewhat based on the 10 commandments?

I see religion as a way for people to follow rules as an example to lead their lives. And compare the Devil to the boogeyman. If you don't do this he will get you. Also the Devil is a good person to blame for the bad things you do. Even tho the blame is in yourself.

I myself am a good person. But not because a book tells me too. Not because the government tells me to be. Because I don't want to disappoint my parents.

I almost think that people that need to turn to religion to become a better person are weaker than those that are good people without a book to follow.

We are given life through two ways. The spiritual and metaphysical way, which is through the Holy Spirit, a key element that makes up the being we know as God. Then there is the physical way that you humans see, since you are unable to grasp the spiritual side until you cross over to it. That way is a combination of simply elements and chemicals and compounds that give our bodies life, breath and a mind to control our actions and thoughts. You see, there aren't actually two separate ways of thinking and believing, as in the scientific method and the religious aspect, but they are merely two different ways of perceiving the SAME thing through different worlds.

come on now. i don't claim to be as smart as you, but please! if there is a god, was he there forever? it would seem much harder to believe that a god never started, that he was always there. think about what you are asking us to believe. also, if a god created all that we see, he would have infinite knowledge, power, compassion (yada, yada, yada), then why would he need our constant acknowledgement in prayer? is he/she that egotistical? nobody will burn forever for not believing...grow up.

maybe you think that developmentally disabled people and small children are going to be spared because they didn't have the capacity to learn. ...based on that, we should assume there is an intelligent level amoungst average people that will allow them to be unbelievers??? i may not possess all your knowledge! ahhh, ignorance is bliss. the meek shall inherit only if they have rich parents! don't be fooled by cheap imitations! your religion is very new in the cosmic scope of things.

You are the reason i stopped going to church and became an atheist. I wouldn't have any problem with you people if you would just shut up sometimes and not mention Jesus 300 times in a 5 minute conversation.

Do you believe in unicorns? There is no evidence and if you don't, should you have YOUR head examined? No. That would be stupid to suggest such a thing. Why don't we all just believe what makes the most sense. If you think putting your faith in something is right, then go ahead. I, for one, suspend my belief and my following for those things that do not present ample evidence.

I hate being asossiated with people like me...you make me hate the word Christian. God tells us to love each other and you are condeming them. Before you start looking at others' sins, look at your own. What is the point of this question? Conversion? All you're doing is upsetting people and possibly turning them further away from God. Please stop this hipocracy. I'm sure Jesus would never say something like this.
