IMO synthetic oils should be recomended for EVERY engine. if you want synthetic, mobil one isnt as good as it used to be. castrol synthetic is good. but if you want a really really good oil, try Royal Purple. it gives a stock 01 camaro 9 whp with a simple oil change. it does that by reducing friction in the motor. it will also save you gas. dont believe me? look it up.

good luck , hope it helps.

most people convert to mobile 1 full synthetic at roughly 500 miles after buying it new.....if it was me I would run mobile 1 and change it every 2500 miles....horizontally opposed engines make a lot of noise after you get alot of miles on them.....start the synthetic now and save your engine
