I want suit jackets, dress pants, vests, and blouses to add to my wardrobe and I can't find what I want. I like colorful clothes with tapered waists, I love tunics, and turtle neck t's. I absolutely love pin stripe pants, and I also need a pair of stylish jeans. My shoe collection is pretty much on E also...I wear a size 0 or 1...I'm 126lbs and I'm 5'4, but I like LONG pants. I don't want to spend too much money....what do ya think?

I always shop at the thrift store, but I'm exhausted when I leave because I have to look for soooo long. I love TJ Maxx, I haven't been to Sears or JCPenny's in years...I don't care about name brands at all...but when I go to the thrift store I always find DKNY and Express.

Old Navy, Marshalls, T.J Maxx, Target, JC Penny, Sears
You should be able to find a lot of decent priced items at some of those places

There are a few places that I shop for more professional clothes that are reasonable, yet cute! I love TJMaxx, and the are always getting new things in, like twice a week, so you never know what they might have, and their prices on average, for an entire outfit is around $30-$40. Jeans, like Tommy's are only $20!! Another place, with is a guarantee they have suit styles is Kohl's, which is always a reasonably priced store, with GREAT sales!! Those would be my top two choices, and I like to think of myself as a professional shopper, since my job is all about style and fashion! Good luck shopping!!

Pass up the thrift stores, and try resale or consignment shops. Consignment shops are where you'll find the best stuff as a rule. You pay more too, but still less than retail unless it's a very high-end shop.
Resale is a step up from thrift shops, and one down from consignment. The items are typically better than what you find at thrift stores, and they're usually not as big.

A.J. Wrighjt
Marshalls
or T.J. Maxx
Those places you will find designer clothes of good quality that don't cost a lot. I find lots of items for around 10 dollars. I even have a couple of designer items that costa a dollar from the clearance rack. They are good because they don't wait too long to mark down their clothes and they get clothes in every week. I know because I worked at Marshalls. They are all owned by the same company and they have layaway too.

H&M - and there's that new store that started in London but they're starting to open up outlets in the U.S. These types of stores have a high turn around on styles, low production costs, and limited supplies. Plus, very affordable. These are your best bets if you're truly looking for trendy and not merely run-of-the-mill.

Target store has nice things that don't cost too much. Sears, JCPenneys are ok. Do you have a Steinmart near? They have really nice clothes. Kolh's has some nice things. Try Chadwicks of Boston catalogs, they have nice clothes. Try some of the vintage clothes stores, that sell good used clothing. Good luck

Good places to shop are Express or the Limited they are not incredibly expensive, especially if you hit them during sales. Look for good end of the Summer sales right now, and Back to School/Work style to be on sale right now.
