I think looters should be beaten almost to death. I'm so glad the sheriff of Harrison County pressed the looting issue hard. He said they were going to put looters in jail if they have to be stacked on top of each other...but they don't need oxygen or food or water so who the hell cares! And if you would have stolen tv's and dvd's too...you would go to hell with them. And don't play around with the looting issue because some of these people will shoot your *** and not think twice about it...but you'd deserve it.
I made my way to the middle of the walmart and kmart "store inventories" amongst the streets and grass, but took nothing. I saw dvd's and game's and lots of unopened packages...but it's wrong.

Ok, New Orleans has been warned for decades that a big storm would wipe them out. Everyone down there knows this to be true. The city is below sea level. There is no reason that people should not have planned for a natural disaster, and that includes the leaders of the city.
For the people that stayed behind, MOST should have been better prepared. Did they deserve what they got? Certainly not! But, most of the looting I saw on TV was clothes alright, brand new shoes and luxury items, not necessities.
