He seems to be a little meaner than called for. Simon Cowell "tells it like it is," but he doesn't hurl four-letter words at the contestants and personally verbally attack them the way Ramsay does. He may be a brilliant chef, but Ramsay comes off as a spoiled little brat to me.

I think he has an anger management issues. But he probably goes over the edge because he knows he can get away with it and to a certain degree he acts it up for ratings. I think he's a sweet passionate man away from the heat of the television camera's and the heat in the kitchen! He's good looking, successful, and passionate. I'd give him a chance on the dating scene!

He definitely tells the truth and what he's thinking, but he's more than mean! He can be a perfectionist and demand perfection/respect in the kitchen, but people can do that without all the screaming and belittling that he does.

That being said, I love that show :o) Go Heather!

I think he's a little too abusive. I'm not sure he's really like that in the kitchen when the camera is off, but he probably is. He demands perfection in the kitchen. Outside the kitchen, he is supposed to be a lovely man and he and his wife do alot of charity work in England.

I think he's just honest and has a high level of expectations which make him a huge success in what he does. I absolutely love watching him in action. I even got my husband addicted to the show. My favorite is when he calls people a donkey. I've seen him in interviews and he's really a nice guy...but when he's in the kitchen, he's strictly business.

He does tell the truth. I think his "meanness" may be just for the show.

He's very straightforward. I like that though I wouldn't like to work for him. He appears to be a different person when he's out of the kitchen.

He's just telling the truth.

Both.

A better question would be, did Heather deserve to win?

or is Virginia really that stupid?
