I was in a bad relationship about a year or so ago, and am still sorta hung up on the guy even though I know he's an ***hole. There's another guy who I know that is really sweet and really likes me, and I like him however I really am not sure if anything would work out because we are friends. I'm scared also because he's two years younger than I. Should I just stay single and wait for the right guy to come along or try and see what will happen...with the risk of hurting one another?

There is always risk of people getting hurt in relationships. Go on some casual dates with this new guy. Don't lead him on just tell him you want to go out as friends. While you are together evaluate him and see if he could be a potiential boyfriend. do not compare him to you Ex. You should get out and have fun with the opposite sex. I think it will help you get over you Ex-BF. Do not enter a relationship thinking you are going to repair your broken heart. Let your heart heal first and then find another guy. God Bless.

I would stay single a little while longer. If you are still hung up on the ex bf. It is not fair to your friend. You need to get over your ex-boyfriend and then worry about the next one.

Look, go slowly, if that guy really likes you he will be able to go really slowly...
and try (both of you) (the one you like and you) to ALWAYS be nice to each other, and if you fight never ever EVER say hurtful things that will make you and him be sad, because you cannot unsay them, alright?
good luck, girl, and always be nice, that's the essence of a good relationship (any kind of relationship)
