This is a tricky question. Elephants are one of the few big animals that have indwelling testicles. One old repro joke is to draw the rear end of an elephant on the board and ask a student to draw the testicles an appropriate size. Whatever they put - its wrong.

This reminds me of the old Indian story of the six blind men and an elephant. The six men feel different parts of his body (side, tusk, leg, tail, ear, tail) and come to logical but erroneous conclusions about the nature of an elephant.
