What I mean is animals that YOU--not any professional scientist--see as insects, like shrimp--I like that answer!

A lot of sea creatures like crawfish and shrimp were once classified as insects, because all inveretebrates used to be classified as either insects or worms until Lamarck seperated insects and worms into more groups suchs as annelids, crustaceans, arachnids, etc. I would never consider them insects now that we are no longer living in the 1800s.

lobsters are related to cockroaches and crabs are related to spiders... if that's what you mean....

shrimp are fly-like

those sea-cucumber things are slug-like...

snails... are snails
