The Rock stated that he will come back to the WWE when you least expect it.....................The Rock returns
At WrestleMania XX, the Rock had his current last match with WWE. In March of 2004, Mick Foley was facing seemingly overwhelming odds against Ric Flair, Batista, and Randy Orton, the stable collectively known as Evolution. The Rock returned to aid his old friend and the match was made for WMXX to feature Mick & the Rock against Flair, Batista and Orton. Evolution emerged victorious after Orton nailed Foley with an RKO and scored the pinfall. The Rock would later participate in numerous antics over the summer of 2004 with the Diva Search contestants, Randy Orton and Eugene. He has not made a live appearance on WWE television since, although his bio continues to be listed on WWE.com as a "RAW Superstar". In a recent interview he said that the only way he'd return to the WWE is if he worked with someone who made sense.

During interviews conducted in 2005, Johnson revealed that his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment expired at the end of 2004. He also stated that he is able to continue using his stage name The Rock as part of a dual-ownership agreement with WWE. Pro Wrestling Insider has since reported that Johnson and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon are back on good terms, and he will continue to appear sporadically for the company, as he did after becoming a successful actor. Announcer Jim Ross' Happy Birthday announcement to The Rock on RAW's May 2 2005 broadcast seemed to confirm this, as Ross stated that The Rock is looking forward to future appearances in WWE. It is unknown whether Johnson has signed a new contract (although the fact that he still remains on the WWE website as a superstar for the RAW brand suggests he may have signed some form of contract or agreement). However, in May 2006 in an interview on WWE.com Michael Cole asked The Rock if fans will see him on RAW or SmackDown in the near future. He answered as only The Rock can, “Just as sure as I whoop *** and have a million dollar smile! Don’t think I’m ever going away for good. I’ll show up when you least expect it!”

I think the Rock should come back for one more match and that's at Wrestlemania 23 against Shawn Michaels seems they've never faced each other on Pay Per View before as well as the fact that Shawn Michaels has cost the Rock the heavyweight title on more than one occasion in the past.

I think that the Rock should come back to WWE only if he has to. Vince at the end, did not treat the Rock right and I am glad that he has move on to a better career. I hope that he is very successful in Hollywood so that he does not have to come back.

Most definitely. I love the fact that he has a great career in the movies, but I really hate the fact that I can't see him every week on Raw or Smackdown. When I need my Rock fix, I go a pull out one of my many DVD or TV appearences that I have taped and watch time. I am really happy that he has a new movie coming out (Gridiron Gang Sept 15 Nationwide GO SEE IT.) That means he will be doing new TV appearances to promote the movie and I have something new to what him in. FYI: The Rock will be on Conon O'Brian Sept 14

Yes I think he should come back so that maybe he can go after the WWE Title and beat Edge or maybe they turn things around and give the title to Randy Orton since he is a legend killer and make him lose to The Rock.

Also The Rock had great mic skills. He needs to take a break from Acting and go back to Wrestling.

Yes if the Rock would come back to Smackdown that would be the only reason I'd watch it. I love the Rock and hope he stops making movie deals soon.

I wish the Rock would come back. I love him. He was the best. He is so funny and he can be serious too. I understand he is doing well in movies and I can't wait to see his new movie, but I would still like to see him make a "Special Appearance" on RAW.

I would love it if he came back, i would actually start watching wrestling again, despite the bs of 2 different storylines with raw and smackdown. But altho he's not the best actor, he's too deep in hollywood. However, there is no denying that he was once the most electrifying man in sports entertainment....if u smeeeeeeeeeeelllllllll.... lol

God please keep him far away from WWE...bad enough with Batista and Cena, don't need another magic, never lose a fair fight guy.....

enough special guys that are always expected to win.....don't need a broken down relic to come back to publicize a movie or some such a thing,

Wrestling should be for wrestlers, not celebrity goofs looking for free publicity(read Huckster, dohhh hulkster:))
