it takes a few days to get to level 2 keep giving good answers and selecting best answer. it can be frustrating at first but it will pay off. you can watch your progress on the right side of your q and a to see how you r doing. i think u need 250 points to get to level 2

dont ask questions ( negative 5 points)
answer more questions (2 points per answer)
answer questions better so u can get more best answer 4 extra points (10 points 4 best answer)
if u do ask questions and u get answers pick a best answer u get points 4 picking one (3 points)

one more tip - try to be the first person to answer cos sometimes people pick up the first correct answer.
