When I was in college I bought a lot of my textbooks from other students on Amazon.com. Over a few years I bought about 50 books or so and only got burned on one. The person I bought it from never sent it to me after I paid for it (Amazon refunded my money). But 49 out of 50 isn't bad! Most of the books were SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper on Amazon than from my school's bookstore.

Amazon is great for finding used books. They'll even list down the prices for you and the condition of the book per seller. However, it may take a while for it to get shipped to you (up to 2 weeks). You also might want to check the barnes and noble website.

There is one on Amazon for £46. Which I think works out to about the same price. It's brand new I think and is dispatched for the U.K (4-6 weeks delivery time). The buyer has a 95% rating. Hope it helps.

Sometimes Amazon and half.com have text books cheaper, but when it comes to scholarly Shakespeare collections, usually you pay through the teeth. Check on those sites and see if you can get a better deal, then if so, order it and return your text for a full refund on campus?

Haven't you read Harry Potter and The half blood prince? Sometimes the books someone wrote in are the most fun.

Ebay! I buy book all the time from there. I just bought textbooks last week and found out the new set was 200.00 and I got them for 40.00. Give Ebay a try!

Enter the ISBN number (w/o the dashes) on google and c what comes up.

Alternately, enter that number in Amazon and see what comes up.

Hope this helps!
