He's hiding something. He is either back with his sons mother or he's got some girls on the side in New York. I think your friend should just go ahead and break up with him because he's just stringing her along. She needs to find someone who will respect her and not cheat on her like he is. Another thing is that he probably has 2 cell phones! It's always a possibility. He just leaves the one that she calls at home takes the other with him. Your friend is getting played big time. That's just my opinion.

That could go either way. It is her choice to believe him or not. Just sit back and watch what goes on. Take you out of it and leave it to her. He might not be cheating. But if you have ever been to NY you would know how it is up there. So I guess what I am getting at is that I understand she is your friend, but she has to make the choice....not you.
Good luck to your friend......I HOPE HE'S NOT CHEATING.

I mean you have to look at it from both sides of the fence now i know that thats your homegirl but if shes not doing nothing about it then that might be what she wants its good that your being a friend and looking out for her but it might be some stuff that shes leaving out and not telling you all the details thats why shes so sprung!

Humm...first of all, you, as the friend, are in a lose-lose situation giving her advice. She won't believe you. But I agree. He's cheating. He's just using her for back-up for when he gets back in town. She should let him go, but let her get to that conclusion on her own. If you say anything to her, she will defend him. He's not calling cause he's BUSY with another woman!

This is one of those FEW situations where you just have to let her handle her own business. If she chooses to stay with him and waste her life away with him, just be there for her when it all falls apart. IF she leaves, be there for her while her heart heals. Just be a good friend, that is all you can do.

it looks like he is cheating on her, and if she is really your friend try to help her but remember that is her decision, she has to take the last word. i guess, there is only two options. or that men is only looking for a mom for his son and treat her after like a employment or he is cheating on her.

I've seen this before, and she needs to break it off. Too many players in this game, and too much drama. If she doesn't believe him, it is not worth it. There are much easier relationships to find.

Tell her to just get him to back off!!! If she wants to break up with him, she has a right to! If he can't respect that, he is SERIOUSLY messed up and needs a restraining order!

Why not mind your own businees, and let your "friend" live her own life? You think she needs you meddling in her business?
