Was wondering could a few layers of plastic rap be a type of condom? Would it stop sperm from leacking, would it help prevent STD's... or would it be the same as not wearing a condom at all?!?!

It would be the same as not wearing a condom at all... possibly worse. First of all there would be no way to get the plastic to fit well enough to be an effective barrier. Second, plastic wrap would have pores big enough for sperm or bacteria or viruses to get through. Third (this is the "possibly worse" part), since it is not designed to be worn on the body, plastic wrap may be made with chemicals that would be irritating to sensitive body areas.

Condoms don't cost that much, and in fact many clinics & agencies give them away free. And people who work in places that sell or distribute condoms could not care less who comes in to get them... so embarassment is not an excuse either. Bottom line- if you're mature enough to have sex, you should be mature enough to take the correct precautions to protect yourself & your partner!

It's the same as not wearing a condom at all...the plastic rap is not a sealed unit, and the sperm can find it's way into a wet environment......so just go out and get some condoms, don't risk getting someone pregnant by using the plastic rap

Basically the same as no protection...there are tiny holes (pores) in plastic wrap that don't have the ingredient nonoxynol-9 in it to prevent pregnancy or STD's. A condom is the only sure fire way to be 99.9% safe when engaged in sexual activity. Abstinence of course, is 100%....

Not only is that unsanitary, its also unsafe, many things could go wrong with that, such as the plastic wrap coming off and getting stuck in the vagina, its not at all a reliable sperm barrier, and that could cause great infection for the girl, you or both.

condoms cost like 15 cents, you would be wasting more money with the plastic wrap than the condom

I doubt that is a good idea. Aside from there being no guarantees about its effectiveness, I assume it might cause some discomfort and irritation of your penis.

You should not be having sex when you are asking a question this idiotic.
