Two books come to mind: The Story of ME is a looseleaf album that can be ordered with a special "Two Moms" page pack that replaces all mentions of "Dad" with another "Mom." It's a flexible book that allows you to add and remove pages as necessary to tell the unique story of baby's life. It also comes with a number of beautiful cover option:

The other is the Molly West first year book. These are gorgeous handbound albums that are made with a gender neutral approach to the parents. Each of the pages that typically say Mom or Dad in most baby books, instead read "Parent" --- so, for examples, both branches of a family tree read "Parent," which makes it very suitable for same-gender parents:

You might want to contact some gay and lesbian book stores in your area and see if they have something like what you are looking for. There are very many gay and lesbian parents out there so their should be a market for it.
If you don't have success with that and you make your own and this is a surprise for your daughter then you should casually ask her what her children will call her life partner with out letting on that you are making a baby book. Explain to her that you are not trying to be insensitive but you just don't know.

"partner" is better than "life partner" i think. And I think you should make a baby book for your daughter. With all the scrapbooking supplies that are out now it would be so easy and so much fun. And think of the precious memory you give the child just because its from you. Instead of Mom and Dad you could put Mom-then your daughters name and Mom-then her partners name. It is heartwarming to see someone so supportive. Good luck to all of you

Look for "Heather has Two Mommies," just do a Yahoo! search that says, "gay parenting, childrens books."

P.S. Life Partner and Partner are "both" equally acceptable! Also, Barnes & Nobles and Books-a-Million carry some of these books in their Childrens section! Congratulations on becoming a Grandmother!

Personally i think they would like a babybook better if you made them one. Instead of using Life Partner you can put Partner. If you made the book yourself it'll add a personal touch to it and i'm sure they would like it better than one you bought in a store.

both my husband and that i wanted that someone might want to have informed us how your relationship ameliorations when you had slightly one. previously we had our son we by no skill ever argued, once he became born we argued each and each of the time. I felt like he did not help me adequate, i became completely exhausted each and each of the time and he became continuously at artwork. no individual fairly prepares you for what your body is going through once you've had the child. someone must have informed me about how snarled your hormones are and how lengthy it may take for you to sense universal back. yet another aspect that took me for wonder became how a lot sleep you quite omit and how that has outcomes on your healing procedure. Being sleep disadvantaged takes a toll on your body and your concepts. Weepy isn't even the be conscious once you've had 2-4 hours of damaged sleep, you sense like you've been hit through a truck, and also you already comprehend you do not actually have time to feed your self or bathe now to not prepare save the domicile as sparkling as you would possibly want to like it. Having slightly one is frustrating, no longer basically on your body, yet on your concepts and your relationship besides. I supply a lot props for unmarried moms who attempt this without the help of a more desirable 0.5. Please quote Lea Bray

Wow, did a double-take on that headline. Be more careful with your dangling modifiers.

I'd make one. It would have much more meaning than one off the store shelf.
