The Australian Tax Office website has a simple calculator to help you figure this out. http://calculators.ato.gov.au/scripts/asp/simpletaxcalc/main.asp

As a _very_ rough estimate it'll be about 23.5% for 2006-07. You should use the calculator above though coz it will take into account any medicare levy etc.
