It is necessary to maintain and foster social structures. We are not hermits. In order for our society to function and for goals to be reached, we must be able to communicate effectively with one another.

Sweetie,
Everyone needs to communicate for several reasons and on different levels. The worst scenario for anyone is to be in an emergency situation, and unable to communicate the exact details of whats going on; maybe a child or an elderly person involved and their lives are at your ability to communicate. How sad that day will be. Or, how about, on a business interview, you are unable to convey your thoughts clear enough to convince them that you are the best candidate for the job. Let's look at school, you are trying to enlist conversation with others to share some common interests, you are unable to because of your limited social level. You don't have to be so well spoken to be in a "Toasters" convention, however its important to speak well enough to get an exact point across and thought expressed.

Take Care!

It only matters if you don't live by yourself on an island...even then, you might need it to flag down a plane or boat....
