yes! problems could still arise...im 22 and never saw a gyno until about 2 years ago to find out i had problems...you should always go, even when your 80!

Even at a min a woman should get a check up at least once a year. So I would definately keep up with those appts.

What did your surgeon say? Normally they will want to keep a close eye on you for a year or two at least
