you might have what is called PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) can be caused by Insulin Resistance and may take the form of numerous symptoms, which vary from woman to woman.

Weight Gain. Many women with PCOS gain weight around their abdomen, taking on an apple shape rather than a pear shape. Such weight gain is linked with imbalances of glucose and insulin in the body.

Irregular Periods. Nine or few menstrual cycles per year may be a sign of PCOS. Bleeding may be heavier than normal. These conditions are caused because the ovaries are not producing hormones that keep the menstrual cycle regular.

Infertility. The high levels of excess insulin seen with PCOS can stimulate the ovaries to produce large amounts of the male hormone testosterone, which can possibly prevent the ovaries from releasing an egg each month, thus causing infertility. Because women with PCOS don’t have regular menstrual cycles, many are unable to become pregnant. With help, however, many PCOS sufferers conceive.

There are several hormonal blood tests that you can take by seeing your GYN or your Primary. I doubt you are pregnant. Get a good thorough exam.

Good luck!!

consult your doc for a blood test - you may be pregnant and are deficient in hormones (like Progesterone) necessary to sustain the fetus. A simple vaginal Progesterone supository prescription would boost your levels and give it a chance -OR, you're not pregnant.

Either way, the answer will give you peace of mind and I'm convinced that stress is a major cause of miscarriage.

My advice - get a blood test and keep doin it at every chance (but don't make a chore out of it- once again, stress)

You just had a period a few days ago. Wait till next month to see if you are pregnant

You may want to see a doctor about your cycle

There's always a chance...I actually had 2 periods after conceiving both of my sons, and although I'm very regular usually, I did go 3 weeks late a couple of times....I wouldn't worry about it quite yet, but if it makes you feel better, you can do another pg test, or have your doc check things out.

From what you have said, I really don't think you are pregnant. You just suffer from irregular periods which is common. I would see my doctor.
