Oh, I will be devastated. How can you stay calm knowing that Pluto is not a planet anymore? They have no respect for self identities.

Well, it will make the New Horizons probe traveling to Pluto not as interesting as now we can say all EIGHT planets have been visited. It will probably make some astrologers go nuts now. :-) We'll have to explain to our children and grandchildren that once upon a time there was a planet called Pluto. It also makes Disney look silly as they'll probably have to rename Mickey Mouse's dog. Most of all, the god Pluto will be very angry and all Hades might break loose.
It terms of our normal daily lives, it will likely have no effect. Pluto was unknown before 1930, and life didn't change then.
Well, actually it did, as the Great Depression was starting to get nasty, which lead to World War II, the Cold War, and the Clinton Presidency. Maybe with us kicking Pluto out of the solar system will things return to the glory days of the 1920's. :-)

Well i'll always considered Pluto a planet so them saying its not a planet dosent bother me ;for me there will always be 9 planets. Even if the Science people are saying its not a planet thats their thing. No one else has to go by that if they dont want too.

Scientists and astronomers will have to write new or revise their textbooks. This means more money in their pockets either way.
As far as life on Earth, I wouldn't expect a massive change. As it stands right now, all future generations will learn that there are 8 planets. Not 9. That is about the extent of it.

I am under depression medicine now. Pluto as a planet was the only thing holding me together emotionally.

None whatsoever. I mean it's not like Pluto disappeared, it's still there. A label doesn't change that.

I for one am thrilled that Pluto has been demoted. It used to be a moon of Neptune, and it is smaller than many other moons in our system.
