There is not a lot you can do for a broken toe other than tape it. I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on tv, so take my advice for what it's worth.

The best you can do is to tape them so they are immobilized and to not move them at all. You're going to hurt for at least a week, but if they are still straight they will heal that way. Just hope that they don't heal crooked or you'll be that way for life - unless you're OK with getting them re-broken by a doctor later on.

Yea, not a lot you can do for a broken toe. Tape them up, and grit your teeth. I know it sucks, but that's what the ER will do and say. Save the headache of an ER and just get a $3 roll of sports tape and good luck.

Put some ice on them. Keep your foot elevated. Try taping a hurt toe to a good one. The Dr. will not do much more than that anyway. Plus, my advice was free.

I have had broken toes...no real big deal. I called the hospital & asked what they would do for me. They would ex ray to make sure it is broken, & then tape them together for support. I said thanks, but I know it is & I can tape them. She said okay, good luck!
Pinkie toes are the worst...it will just take time, tape them if you can & watch them. If you see any odd coloring, or *bad* swelling, call doc immediately. Obviously, nothing came thru the skin, so you are okay there. Good luck!

Not much can be done for that even if you did have insurance. The doctor could give you pain killers but they can't splint them or anything like that.
Take ibuprofen or something else to help the pain and keep it up. Try to stay off it if you can. It's probably just bruised.

treating them yourself is unwise, you could permanently damage them and end up walking funny or with deformed toes.
if you can wiggle them, they are probably not broken, just bruised.
you should still get checked out. there are clinics that cost little or no money.

Unless they are displaced, taping is the best treatment!

bandage it up, and i would think just keep it very very still because you don't want it to heal crooked, well maybe you do, i dunno if you're lifelong dream is to have a crooked toe
