Are women today really shrinking themselves to this size?

yeah size 0 does exist and i find that a lot of woman do try to achieve that. to me you don't have to be a size 0 to be happy. right now i am losing weight and aiming toward a 6. i am only an 8 but these days it is like being 300 pounds! the media makes it seem like you have to be a size 0 and 99 pounds to be accepted in this world. i don't believe in that. that is why Queen Latifah is one of my idols because she believes that a woman doesn't have to be a size 0 to be beautiful. she is a real person not a plastic designer skinny phony.

Yes it does exist. I don't think women are purposely shrinking themselves. There are some women who have small frames and a high metabolism which allows them to wear size 0.

Only the States. In Australia and UK a size 0 is a 4. Don't know about other European countries.

WEll yeah in the juniors section.If your like 13 or something you might be.I am.In your waist there is a size 0.Doesnt mean you are shrinking yourself. JUst you know how there are girls 7-16 then juniors?well maybe ppl 12-16 dont want to go there but to the juniors and they can get size 0 or something.

I was a size 0 in high school and up until the age of 19. I still the size on racks today - but since it's normally the only size left on the rack maybe there aren't many out there?

Yup...they sell 0 and 00 where I live (Canada). I went to Japan a few years ago and I think the largest size you could buy was a 5!!! I think some people try to make themselves that skinny...others are just naturally that thin.

Um, yes, I should know; I wear it! Size 0-4. That's why I can go in the women section because they have it (even though obesity seems to be one of the leading issues in health problems)! It exists in the US, UK, Europe (I know the UK IS in Europe, but everyone just divides those two anyways), Australia, etc. For the very petite women (let's say the Asians), kids and teens such as myself.
But don't feel bad; it's not always being easy to be so small! Really. It's hard to find clothes so small and fit properly.

I'm a 0, sometimes a 00, but those are harder to find. I'm 26; some women just have smaller frames that enable them to wear such a small size.

I'm in america, and I'm 5'7 and a size 00. I weigh 120, and I eat all the time, I don't remember the last time I ate at home, I always eat out. I don't exercise, but I'm always on the go and I have a fast metabolism.
