There is no way whatsoever you could accurately tell whether someone is overweight or not, based solely on height & weight. You can use BMI (body mass index), but that is VERY faulty, just ask ANY personal trainer or doctor. BMI does not take into account lean muscle mass, so according to BMI, professional bodybuilders with 3% bodyfat are morbidly obese. It's simply inaccurate. The only accurate way to tell if you are carrying too much weight is getting your actual body fat percent tested.

Stop worrying about your weight. Get your BMI tested by a personal trainer or healthcare professional, then focus on getting healthy & enjoying your body.

Weight/body obsession can spiral out of control. Stop worrying, you young thing. Stop obsessing now and you'll have a much higher quality of life. If you can't stop obsessing- really do see a therapist because you may need to address some "issues" that cause this unhealthy mental behavior. It's normal to want to look nice and normal to want to live healthy- but constantly thinking of nothing else is a sure way to ruin your teenage years and perhaps much of your life. If you can't stop thinking about your outward appearance, at least talk to a school counselor. You are young enough to stop this dangerous mental game.

I can so relate to your obsession... I honestly think the best way to figure out if you are over weight is to try on your favorite pair of jeans- If you feel good in them and the size your in then relax... I have been athletic my whole life therefore I weigh more than most girls who are my size or more typically I wear smaller sizes than those who weigh less than me. I weigh 130lbs and I wear a size 2/4, and I eat and I DO NOT compare myself with other women... Because no one else is like me, or you for that matter. Your numbers sound healthy but your obsession does not. I wish you luck in finding other interests.

No, it's not. But if you are obsessed with weight issues, nothing anyone says here will reassure you for very long. You need to try to focusing on something more productive in your life. Take up a new hobby or sport, but don't focus on your weight or it will take over your life. Trust me, I've been there and wasted too long on trivial issues such as weight. Take care : )

No sweetheart I was 121 pounds until i turned 43 and loved it I could wear anything I wanted to ,and I'm a mother of three adult kids so enjoy your weight because everyone I know wish they were 120 pounds again.

Nope. Don't worry about your weight, unless a doctor tells you to. If you eat right and exercise for 30-60 minutes a day, you're good. Don't spend you're life worrying about what you weigh, it won't let you have a good life.

No, for every inch over 5 ft add 5 pounds. You are still growing so watch your weight, get plenty of exercise and sleep. Chat to your doctor or school nurse.

Nope! In fact it sounds underweight for normal standards. If you want to model they might ask you to lose 10 pounds bec they have to be underweight
