For all who answered calling the Asker on his grammar, he should have used quotes, "is our children learning" is a Bushism!
Sure is learning, Bush said in his, "Leave No Child Behind" program,
our children must be learn to read and be literate in Math."
And in her message to a hurricane ravaged Mississippi town:
"I also want to encourage anybody who was affected by Hurricane Corina to make sure their children are in school."

I don't think the crappy public school is working in their favor. The Europeans with a system based upon choice (ie vouchers) kick the crap out of us. Our kids will eventually be just outclassed. Our college system may be expense but its considered one of the best in the world because individuals choose where to go to college. Its not based upon where you live. Lets face it our school system is wreck because the immoral (immoral because govt. uses force) institution of government got involved. Thank you Lyndon B. Johnson.
