I think a fertilized egg is some form of human, and deserves some measure of consideration. Note the wording carefully, for what I said and what I didn't say.

I would think any kind of plan to, say, give away the pill in ghettoes would be disgusting and certainly racist.

But if one thinks we're just talking about a "clump of cells," then I would imagine it would not be as objectionable.

The old Bill Bennett question.

What say you?

How would I amend my question to substantiate what I am saying? That a fertilized egg is human? Genetics. It's a complete human, although at a very, very, very early stage of development.

I'm using race to illustrate a point, only.

it is a false presumption, to say that a developing foetus s merely a clump of cells . This is wrong ,we are talking about a potential human being here.

To encourage any one, to get rid of a baby, at what ever stage and for whatever reason, is wrong .

what has been suggested here, ,is , raciest and unethical, and also murder in my opinion.

Hmmmm ! who is Bill Bennett?

People can make anything about racism, can't they? And I suppose there are no poor white neighborhoods or poor whites who live in neighborhoods with these 'minorities'? What would you call it when poor whites are given free birth control items? Are you saying that we should stop breeding but not minorities who also can't afford to have a baby? Why must you see racism in everything? How about instead you consider that all poor people are victims of discrimination. We are all told to use birth control and have abortions. Well, except for hispanics. We have to be tolerant of their religion and customs, you know.

Okay I agree that all fertilized eggs regardless of race are humans. I don't like being asked to kill my children either just because I'm poor. Many people practice discrimination against all lower income people.

This whole idea of "controlling the population" has good intentions, but it is not for us to decide. God is the creator, therefore it is He who decides who lives in this world. Now the concept of humans playing God really disturbs me.

I am not surprised that it is focused on non-whites. The fact that it is reflects racism. That is wrong because we all are humans and whites make the same mistakes as much as non whites. It is a form of "ethnic cleansing".

May be. There was a story a few yours ago about a white woman (Barbara Harris) who advertised on a giant billboard that she was willing to pay for women`s sterilisations in a poor minority neighbourhood in the USA in an effort to reduce the number of crack babies.

y would it be racist. Think of the kids who are born with parents who are crack heads, or beat the crap out of them everyday bc they did even plan on the kid to begin with! i dont see it as racist at all bc in the long run those kids pay for it and eventually grow up all messed up! I would give it to any and all races or ethnicities! dont matter! I encourage protection with sex at all times, but hey sometimes **** happens so u gatta have a back up plan!

Would you please edit your question to substantiate your claim?

Would it be foolish to also encourage its use among college freshmen females at so-called known "party schools", where anything usually goes? Or is that not applicable, because they, unlike the ones in the "ghettoes" can always get an abortion?

no.
(why are people spewing out kids that they can't look after- and the state has to raise taxes, to feed/clothe/house them? this is a problem all over the world esp. africa/asia not just in the ghettoes)

Unless it can breathe on its own it is not a viable "human" no matter what race it is.
