I was wondering if it was possible for a person to change their eye
colour but not via wearing contact lenses but apermeantly. What
are the options and how safe are they?

I would like to change my eye color from green to dark brown... what are the options?

There is no way to change your eye color, other than contact lenses. Cornea transplant does not work, because the cornea only covers the pupil (the black center part of the eye) and does not extend over the colored part of the eye.

You cannot change your eye color by surgery. If you want a different iris color, you must wear specialty contact lenses prescribed by an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

actually i read this article in which a surgeon TATTOOS a different color in some1s eye, however the generally just do it to patients that have a dead eye that has lost its natrual color cuz there is a risk that you COULD go blind. if you are really serious about the procedure try consulting a doctor who would be willing to do it.

I don't think there is a way to change the color.
Besides I like green much better then brown. It is more unique.

Your only option is contacts. What's wrong with green eyes?
I think they are pretty.

green eyes are amazing, and far nicer than dark brown... they're unique, love them or leave them!

...and you can't really leave them. =/ but green eyes are adorable!

why not color contacts? they're inexpensive, and you can get them even if you don't wear any prescription of glasses or contacts... even with 20/20 vision! ;)

Don't try. There's always a risk to these things.
