This guy on the bus told me that in the past Americans actually had to fight for their rights to make their lives better. That doesn't make any sense. Why didn't they just go to some place where life was already good? I don't believe him.

As a former Mexican, and current illegal immigrant in American, I find this to be silly. I was able to better my life without so much work. Just a quick run across the border.

I don't believe this is fair for americans who fought countless times to hold our place. To make this our home.
I don't think its right for Mexicans or anyone else just to come over here and steal jobs from harding working and Americans that have lived here all of our life.
And they can do all of this illegally.
While i think its unfair to just ship people back home. In the same instant i believe they should have to take citizen ship classes and if they refuse to....they should go back to Mexico.
Or whereever they come from. This is about all immigrants. Its weighing on our economy and hard working people are having to take up the slack.
If you wanna be a citizen then i'm all fine with it. However if you wanna be here illegally i dont think it should be allowed!
I dont think i should have to learn Spanish just so that when you come into a grocery store i know what you're ordering. I think you should know what you're ordering.
Sorry if that sounds a tad harsh.

I believe other people on here make very good points. Americans fought countless times to keep this country...ours.
I know my granddaddy didn't fight in a war for freedom so that my college scholarship could go to a Mexican that tested lower then me just because of his skin color. I mean talk about unfair. What about it being unfair for Americans?

You got a point there mate. I'd hardly a call the minor skirmish we had with the Brits in the 1770s to establish our freedom to be much of a fight.
