I'm assuming that you're talking about black tattoos fading to green. Any tattoo will fade a little bit, but the ink changing colors means that the ink was not of the best quality. Also, pure black is hard to work with so a lot of the time a dark dark green is used in place of black, so it will fade to a lighter green, but shouldn't be that noticeable.

The older ones do because time just fades them and green is the base colour of the ink used. Nowadays they don't because the ink they use is better and holds it's colour. Any tat will fade with lots of sun exposure, skin irritation etc.

That is the ink breaking down. If the blacks turn green, or blue, it is the base colors still showing while other colors have faded.

i think you need to get a new tattoo artist if your tattoos are going green.

Some black ink will take on a greenish cast over time...especially if they are very old or have had a lot of sun exposure or chlorine (anything that could cause fading)...

huh? Tats are only green if they start green. Now because of wrinkles and old age they can apear to have smeared

i think the black fades to green, i've seen that happen.
