VEM files???

Question

I took some pictures with my digital camera and then downloaded them to a memory stick. When I went to upload them onto my computer, the images were converted from JPEG to a .VEM file and my computer won't let me open them! Does anyone know any way around this, or a way to convert them back to .JPEG??
