Most of the time it is over one thing and that is:
The Almighty Buck.
What's in it for me? Where is my share?
Especially if you lose a mom or a dad and you have siblings. Believe me, the claws come out. Some siblings begin fighting before the parents check out. All I can tell you, honey, is good luck trying to bring everyone together again. When someone real close to you checks out, it is difficult on every person who is a part of the family.

Each person deals with the grief of loss of a loved one in their own way -- and it will take time to deal with that loss. Sometimes people don't ever deal well with the loss. You just need to be there for your family when the hurt is not so bad and they can finally talk about their feelings without being in the immediate strong grief.

Most of the time it's because people get greedy...Everyone is wanting what the deceased left behind...Just share it and get over it or donate it to a worthy charity
There should be no fighting at this time...this is a time for becoming stronger as a family unit

I think it is because different people handle stress differently. Some have the need to be alone and grieve and some have to have others around them and grieve. It just has to do with the way people handle it. Death can be stressful and rip apart life's and families depending on how that family handles their grief.

The stress of a loved one puts stress on everyone. I would try to have a family meal... that way everyone is in the same room. Give plenty of notice and do not take no for an answer.
