When we started educating them in government run schools.
"Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed."

That is what Public Education has accomplished. The intentional dumbing down of America to eventually overthrow it. You are taught to blindly obey and never question. One previous answer even stated that this was "more intelligent"! A true triumph of mind-control! Such is the genius of Public Education.

Be careful when generalizing. Many kids question what's going on here. Some agree, some disagree. Don't sell kids short.

As soon as the last military draft ended, people went back to not giving a damn about what is going on. As long as they have a "perceived" vested interest, they will get involved. Just wait until the Bush regime restarts the draft, then you will see youth become political again ......... for a while, anyway.

There is nothing wrong with questioning the government, kids! Questioning DOES NOT mean you don't support the government. It means that you care enough to familiarize yourself with facts and issues and question anything that you don't understand. It means not being sheep.

Maybe the "kids" are more intelligent than your generation and actually support the government instead of always critizing and mocking.
