My parents have just told me that a house in a different area has come up and we might be miving at the end of september. the trouble is that I don't know what to do. Should I move or not? I live in a really rough area and I've had to start alot of different schools and I've been bullied alot so I find it hard to settle. I make new friends easily but that's not the point - I'm scared of being bullied again. I've just started a new school and I'll have to move again. This new house is supposed to be in a really nice area, but I'm still not sure. What should I do?

If you live in a rough neighborhood now, this is probably for the best. I used to be the kid that was picked on so I empathizes with you, but, you may make a lot of new and great friends, so do look up!

For the first 18 years of my life I was an Army Brat and we had
to move alot even to a foreign country (Germany). If things are
so bad where you are right now you have to move to a nicer area
and if you are underage you don't really have a choice. No matter what you do or where you live try to have good friends and
make the best of it. Don't get involved with anyone who appears
to be a bully and if you can stand up for yourself.

rough areas tend to have more bullies than nice areas. I say, go ahead and move and start all over agin. you will be more happy in a nicer area than a bad area with bullies.

Move with your family. Change your attitude and tell yourself you won't be bullied anymore. Maybe it's something about you that attract bullies. Don't act timidly. If you show confidence, people will treat you with respect. Go ahead and start new.

unless you really have a choice, you may have to move with your parents. i'm sorry that you are being bullied...try standing up for yourself; tell those who bullies you that you don't like it. maybe you might surprise them and get them to stop...

Relax and go for it. It sounds like you are very adaptable, which is a good thing for a gal that has already had to move frequently.

Well, if your parents want to move that badly, you really don't have to much of a choice, so my advice is to suck it up and move.
