You left out Neptune. It's still a planet.

That's the beauty of science. It's always changing. If we knew all of the answers or if all of the stuff we thought we had figured out stayed solved, there would be no need for scientists today. Or at least no need for children to grow up to be scientists. That's what makes it fun. You never know what will be discovered next.

Think about it this way: anything you've ever learned about Pluto is still true, except we no longer call it a planet. Just like anything you might have known about Zaire is still true, even though it's called Congo now. As for the mnemonic, may I recommend: My very excellent mother just served us noodles.

dee dee dee, i thought noodles starts with an 'N'. And it should be 'say, my very extravagant mother amy just sent us nine kangaroos' because you should include the sun, the asteroid belt, and the Kuiper belt.
