Sniff Chocolate!! In a study, subjects who memorized words in a room scented with chocolate recalled 21% more than those who memorized them in a scentless room. Scientists think the smell stimulates the brain's limbic system, which is responsble for memory.

I don't know if this is true or not, but, it does make a little sense. Someone suggested to me that sugar clogs the brain synapses and keeps you from remembering stuff. I was advised to lay off the sugar.
There was also a study done on caffeine. It's suppose to stimulate the brain, which it may do, but it sure doesn't help my memory.
If I have to remember something, I will put it on a sticky note and put it somewhere that I know I will see (like the steering wheel of my car or the refrigerator.) If you are studying for a test, you can make your studies into a song and put your favorite beat to it. I can remember lyrics to songs but not important stuff!
Good luck with your goal. And if you find a sure fire method, please share it!

Eating fish helps you learn, so I would guess that helps your memory.
