The Hezbollah rockets fired indiscriminately into Israel were filled with ball-bearings - an illegal weapon designed to maim civilians. Do the Arabs have a special UN licence to commit war-crimes? Did Kofi Annan approve this licence?

(Ball bearings are used to create maximum hurt - like poison gas and dum-dum bullets - which are likewise banned...)

As you may have read, the Hezbollah terrorists normally use UN vehicles, supplies and bases. So the UN is just as guilty as the terrorists.

Kofi Annan has proven that he is a Hezbollah supporter over the years. When they last kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldiers, the UN took souvenir videos of the event, and provided them to the Syrians and to the Lebanese. Israeli investigators were only allowed to see an edited version, with the kidnappers/murderers faces blurred.

Like "poor, little" Israel has done nothing wrong,it only killed Hezbollah militants and never, ever targeted civilians...If UN accuses Hezbollah of 'crimes against humanity' it should do the same thing to Israel...
'Cos both Israel and Hezbollah targeted and killed civilians...so if u accuse one u must accuse the other too...

When has the UN ever taken a 'crimes against humanity' stand where ANY terrorist organization is involved? To my knowledge there has never been a time when groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, or any other have targeted anyone but civilians. The closest they have come was the Beruit bombing of UN forces and the USS Cole. And neither one of those incidents involved a threat to anyone. One was a peace keeping operation and the other one was just a port of call.

Because the forces of evil usually prevail. There is always a double standard when it comes to Israel and the Jewish people. Anti Semitism is much bigger than most people admit. The "peace" people are perfect examples. Have you ever seen them demonstrate against the suicide bombers who blow themselves up in public places? Israel has never started a war. Although Iran is threatening to "wipe them off the map" are the peace people protesting? Think what would happen if it was the other way around.

unfortunately, and as always, the UN always shows preference to the arab side in a conflict?most of the time,so does the media, when they always show an arab child whose been hurt or killed, but seldom do they show the pain the israeli children are suffering,or the death of israeli children.its the way of the world,it probably wont ever change, and apparently not too many lessons were learned from hitler and world war 2,the jews * are always to blame* so it seems, and im so sick of it.

Because the UN is implicit in Hezbollah's crimes, the UN should be charged with these crimes as well.

The UN is anti-semitic. Most of the members of the UN are backing the Muslim countries over Israel. The liberal media is guilty of the same thing. Oil contracts hold a lot of weight when it comes to whose side you are on.

The UN is a joke.

It has always hated ISrael and Israel has always hated it.

Considering the UN is a powerless farce, it makes no difference anyway.
