Usually Diet and exercise will not get rid of it (it may help a little)
The best thing right now is Endermologie, its the only F.D.A. approved treatment for cellulite out there, it basically is a treatment you do twice a week to start, and then about once a month therafter, it involves trained technitian that uses an endermologie machine that is a head with rollers that suction and gently roll on the body.

If it is done right it is painless(find a good place) but it can be expensive. The before and after pictures are amazing.
It is the secret of all the wealthy and famous, look for it on the internet LPG Endermologie

I had cellulite too but I got rid of it by swimming. So the people who say that exercise and diet don't help, might be wrong. I eat healthily, but I drink a lot of red wine and smoke cigarettes (both considered cellulite builders.)
Maybe you should research about it on the internet (I mean professional sites) and make a list of the foods they tell you to avoid - there's plenty! Don't freak out about it, just try eliminating some that you think you won't miss.
As cellulite has nothing to do with being over-weight, massaging the areas helps a lot. It doesn't have to be a rough massage either; you need to break down the deposits and send them on their way.
Helancyl used to produce a wonderful body brush with their ivy gel inside ... years ago though; don't know if it is still available.
Drink lots of water too. And if you are really committed, try to do a de-tox regime whenever you feel up to it.
This is probably why swimming and fresh salads and fruit help me to keep it off; cleansing!
At home, you could try the Dead Sea Salt Baths. Very good for de-toxifying.
Another reason I think diet helps, is because I live in Japan and I have rarely seen a Japanese woman with cellulite. They eat a lot of soy products and not much red meat (pork and chicken are fine). If you start taking soy isoflavones now as a supplement, it will also help you sail through your menopause whenever that comes!
You can do it! Good Luck!

I am slim and I have cellulite too, I even spent £500 once having it massaged by a machine which did nothing.

I have been researching it though and this is what I have found that helps:

- Cut down the amount of salt that you eat.... this made a big difference to me
- Cut down on the amount of heavy exercise you are doing. Not intentional but I've been walking a lot recently as I have been too poor to go to the gym and the situation is improving. I hear that swimming is even better.
- Buy 'firming lotions' and rub them on daily. Not the expensive ones Nivea or Dove are fine.
- Take herbal extracts that are known to improve circulation (safely check with doctors if you have medical problems) like Ginko Bilboa
- Eat more plant-based foods like fruit, whole grains and salad
- By a massage tool and a lofa and rub your legs really hard everyday in the shower.

All these things have made mine look much better, but its still there a bit.

Good luck

Ehm..
Since cellulite is a structural issue (muscle) it can be fixed with simple and unique body movements which target the cellulite areas.
These types of moves can be followed by any woman, regardless of her age or fitness level. And it doesn?t matter if the cellulite started in the early teen years, or after pregnancy, or after menopause, it?s still a structural issue that results from soft, un-toned muscles underneath the saggy, dimpled, shadowy skin.

As a medical researcher I don't really recommend phony lotions, painful treatments, crazy skin-brushing, useless body-wrapping or toxin-Flushing pill-scams.

i weigh the same as you and i have cellulite on my butt and thighs! its so annoying, i thought only overweight people got it!
do you smoke? because i know this can cause it! swimming is probably the best exercise to get rid of cellulite as it tones almost every muscle in your body. wen bathing or showering use an exfoliating mitt or sponge to massage the problem areas as this helps to break up the cellulite. also i read that drinking plenty of water really helps. i now aim to drink 2 litres of water a day and i can see an improvement. give it a go!
Good luck!

Cellulite does not come from a single cause. It almost always comes from a combination of generic and hormonal factors. Some wrong behaviors, however, can cause or even worsen cellulite: a life that is too sedentary, altered blood circulation, incorrect diet with insufficient intake of fluids, smoking and alcoholic beverages, high heels and close-fitting garments. The plasma fluid, transudated from impaired and weakened capillaries, accumulates and stagnates in surface adipose tissue.
Cellulite can be reduced by a balanced diet and specific treatments https://tr.im/jFZp4

Cellulite is genetic (so blame your mother!) so it doesn't matter how little or big you are, its a curse. There are billions of products playing on our cellulite insecurities. I don't think any of them work. They just want your money. Accept yourself for who you are and if you still feel worried get creative with your clothes (sarongs are fabulous around the pool) :)
