Turn both screws in, not real tight. Back them off exactly 1 1/2 turns out. If engine dies turn the idle screw up which is on the left side of the carburetor which activates the throttle. To fine tune from this point put your left hand on top of the engine, turn the left screw in until the engine feels like it is running rough. Then slowly back out until the engine smoothes out. Do not go any further out with that screw. Now do the same procedure with the screw on the right. Rule of thumb just make sure the engine is timed first and the RPM is set. Good luck.

there is a screw on the side of yhe carb it is set in the carb a little you will see it turn it all the way in then back it out 2 1/4 turns start the truck you may need to come out another 1/4 turn or in a 1/4 turn dont come out more than 3 turns and dont go in more than 2 turns after you adjust the carb you may need to check the timming

Not an answer to your question really--I used to own a '69 F-100 with the 360. Loved that truck!

The site I'm listing is one of the best sources I've ever found about these trucks:

And this site for all the parts you'll ever need....

I did a complete inner-fender/radiator suport/grille swap on my truck; if you have any questions I'll try to help...Good Luck!

depends on the carb in the truck, buy a haynes or chilton book for instructions. you have to adjust the fuel mixture screws on either side, and the timing, then drive it to make sure it runs smoothe.
