A muslim. They seem to have the same beleiefs that Hitler did. He thought all but Aryan WASPS were inferior and should be destroyed/subjugated.
Muslims seem to think that Islam is the only way to live and all "Kafhirs" or whatever they call us non-muslims are scum and deserve death or to be subjugated. Can you see a pattern here?
A bunch of Pakistani protesters on the BBC recently were ranting about "Islam is going to take over the UK! Islam is going to take over the UK! And there's nothing you can do about it"
Well two things: islam will "Take over the UK" over my dead body and the dead bodies of many other Brits and secondly that just reminded me of Hitler. He wanted to rule Europe. So do the Islamofacists.

History never repeats exactly.
Hitler came out of an unfair settlement at the end of the first world war, so if the US continues as it is, the next dictator like Hitler will probably come from some defeated, resentful nation, possibly in the Middle East.
On the other hand if the West is not careful, it may be Bush himself, or a successor of his. We are already destroying our own democratic structures. The propaganda machine is going full blast. The rhetoric is carrying totalitarian overtones. And we are setting up concentration camps.
The next dictator may already be in power.

Depends on what you mean, if the new Hitler is purely involved in internal genocide and downright brutal repression, look no further than N Korea, Burma, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan´s leaders, the latter two of whom have whacking great reserves of natural gas and/or oil, so their crimes are largely ignored by the western governments.
N Korea and Burma will always be protected by Chinese influence, conversely N Korea are unlikely to ever get the N-Bomb whilst China remains their buddy, as Beijing are more likely than anyone to be threatened by a deeply unstable regime with nuclear weapons.
If you mean a dictator with worldwide ambitions, again China´s got the potential but then again any massive country with the right resources and people could make a bid for global supremacy.
Saudi Arabia, should Bin Laden´s acolytes ever get control of that nations government, may well be a possibility, especially as their rulers preside over what is believed by many to be a deeply unequal dictatorship whose profligate ways are not helping themselves combat this genuine world threat.

there is no guarantee that there will be another dictator like Hitler, but they're are many dictators in the world. the reason why most people automatically think of Hitler when someone mentions a dictator is that he killed 6 million Jews and started the Second World War, which killed 50 million people. the methods that Hitler and the Nazi party used to gain power are quite simple when broken down. you must create fear, the idea of an unknown, hidden enemy within, offer salvation, then people will gladly give up their liberties. in Hitlers time it was the communists and the Jews, today the US (and a lesser extent the UK) are using those same techniques to galvanise opposition to Arabs and Islamic extremists

Why do you think that "history repeats itself?" Isn't that a cliche? There will never be a dictator "like Hitler" unless circumstances become identical to those at Hitler's time - an impossibility. There is and will be dictators, but not like Hitler. Nor will there be a president like FDR, etc...

World events will determine. With Hitler Germany was in the great depression and lost a major war. He imposed pride by hatred to Jews and shifting responsiblity to them for vertually everything. (Sounds like some Democrats I know! a.k.a. blame Bush) People love to believe they are the victim and nothing is their fault. By not accepting blame you can pretend nothing is wrong except one little thing. Though many leaders have come to power using this tactic Hitler also pocessed a dream of being a world dominator. These two traits more than anything defined him. So though it is hard to answer your question will a date or year history seems doomed to repete itself eventually. More than likely a third world nation in about 20 years.

In the sense that unelected leaders are dictators, you need look no farther than the Middle East. Muslims are pretty good at unelected governments. What about the Russian Republics: Yukjistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan?
If you want the sheer racist bit, including anti-Semitism, How about Iran?
If you just like people in uniforms, why not try South America?

I don't think it'll be one single leader. It'll likely be a coalition of countries who use propaganda campaigns to convince their citizens that their offensive action is in response to a perceived but real (contradictory) threat.
For example, I listened to a guy on the radio last night blathering about how the US will look once the Muslims institute Sharia law in place of the US Constitution. The guy was dead serious. That's what makes his propaganda so frightening. A lot of people will believe it.
