Your best bet is to buy one from either Bestbuy or CompUSA. The materials for research that I recommend that you look into are:
MaximumPC magazine

PC Gamer magazine
http://www.pcgamer.com
Both at your local newstands. They sometimes have tutorials and definite reviews (pros/cons/cost,vs.,etc) in which will help you out tremendously. You might want to check out the Consumer Electronics magazines, they might have infor on the intel that you are looking into.
