I was a Republican, Bush convinced me I was wrong, now I am a Democrat. The war is horrible, stupid, unjustified, wrong, and if it is not ended soon it will destroy this country. The debt is insane, it, too is intolerable. President Clinton did a fine job, he was a very competent executive, the kind any organization needs. Mr. Bush is inept at best, and badly motivated at worst.

What happened to independant? I'm neither republican or democrat I am independant and I like it that way. I have mixed feelings about the war, but I think over in the Middle East the killing needs to stop. If we need to go over there and get some order back on track then I am all for it, however, I hate seeing our dedicated military men dying as well. It is a no win situation at times. Just think how the world would be a better place if everyone got along even if there are differences in politics, religion, etc... I truly respect each and every military personnell over there fighting for our freedom as well as their own. When it comes to voting for a President, I chose whomever I feel that has made sense. personally, the only President I feel that was the best since I have been alive is Ronald Reagan. he truly is missed.

Republican. Why? They are more in line with my views, but I am not so Republican that I can agree with the party line no matter what and I don't think Rush is the smartest man who ever lived. I generally want less government influence on our markets, less government period. I believe the Constitution ought to followed and not raped like it has been for years (by both parties by the way). I believe the governments function is to protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, not to ensure happiness mind you, just the right to pursue. I think we should have a strong military and one focus should be defense of our nation. On Iraq and terrorism, we need to stop fighting a political war. We are trying to do this without upsetting people and to keep the media happy. We need to kick out the media, win the war the only way possible, by allowing our military to run it and not the media. I think the first option to the Middle East situation is to sit down with Iran negotiate, while we increase our military presence. I would tell Iran if they launch one nuclear missile at another country, we will flatten Tehran in a heartbeat.

I am a republican. I am a republican because, it makes much more sense than being a democrat. Simply put, democrats are communists, they want bigger government, they want high taxes, they want everyone to have the same amount of money, and it hasn't worked in the past, why should we try it on America. I stand for the defense of America at all costs, and traditional Christian values. I think we should have gone into Iraq, but it should have been done better. We should have gone in because we had intelligence from Israel, England, Russia and our own that said Saddam had WMDs. Now if you're the president, you can't in good conscience ignore that, better safe than sorry. The war against terrorism is going well, several plots have been disrupted, saving thousands of lives.

It does not matter what I am or what my thoughts are but what yours are. You need to make up your mind of what is right or worng or what even you want. Both sides can give you facts and stories or twisted truths of how the other side got it wrong. As an American you need to sift through the mess yourself and find out what you believe and vote for who you believe shares your same or most thoughts. Be active, read information, get involved; that is what America wants. And remember that though the person next to you may feel exactly oppsite he or she still desirves the respect and rights you would want for yourself. Many people forget that that is the true America. Not a party or issue stance.

Libertarian or Costitutionalist, take your pick.

There is a 2 party tryanny in America...both have evolved into uncaring power structures bent on expanding their self-interests and each trashing the Constitution in its own way. Dems are communists and the Repubs are fascists. They take turns in the White House and never seem to get around to undoing the Constitutional damage wrought by the party before.

Neither! I want a new party to vote for, a more moderate party. I am tired of the 2 party system and it needs to be done away with.

republican against abortion, for school prayer, against gay marriages, we need to fight against terrorism and pay to attention to who comes in and out of the US, We need to withdraw from Iraq they need to learn to fight for themselves, We need to support the war in the Middle East and let them fight off their terrorists and help Israel to get their land back that belongs to them. we need to have a easier way for our non terrorist and non criminal illegal immigrants to become legal citzens. We need to make it easier for people who need to go into a nursery home to recieve benefits without the red tape and their losing all their savings. There needs to be a limited amount a private school can charge for education. Education vouchers need to be available for those who would like to sent their children to a private school. The school system needs to get back to the basics of teaching reading, writing and arthmetic and not to have standardized test to being pushing and so focused on. Their needs to be metal dectors in every school and more background checks on teachers to make they are sex offenders have committed any crimes involveing children.
