how do you feel if you r alone in a different community?

if you feel alone in a different community, dont you think ur not supposed to be there in the first place? but if you want to be a part of the community, maybe you feel alone because you are not really trying very hard to be a part of it.

Being alone in a different community would make me feel miserable for the loneliness, empty for having no one with beside me and I would feel like I am an outcast, a stranger that nobody knows, who is trying to be a part of something that I am not used to.

I recently moved 3 hours from my home, to a community where I knew NObody.But I made friends very fast with a neighbor,and took a job in a day care center where i met many people and so did my children.The first 2 months were really hard but now I call this my home.If your in a similar situation my advice would be....just start talking to your neighbors,get involved with local groups (Neighborhood watch,volunteer work etc.)! Good luck!

If it's bothering me, I get out and try to learn about the community and meet some people...get a "feel" for the place. No one is going to come to you. You have to put yourself out there and make yourself available.

Well alone and boring, But if i feel that way i should go and try to make friends and try to know my neighbors around me.

And then i`ll try to associate with others and then they get on with me.
