Once you're 18, you're officially an adult and cannot be adopted.. he could still take care of you, but cannot be you legal parent..

I think adoption can only take place before you reach 18. Once you are 18 you are classed as an adult. So i wouldnt imagine that you can be adopted now

Adoption is only for minors. Once you are over 18, the state reognizes you as an adult and not in need of a legal guardian of any sort, unless you are severely mentally or physically handicapped.

Most places in North America, age 18 is considered an adult. Therefore, you are legally on your own, so no adoption would be necessary.

Yes. Anyone can adopt anybody as long as there is consent from both parties. This happens a lot with people who have special needs. I don't know your situation but either way you should be able to do it.

why would you want to be adopted at this age? I'm not sure but I think its only for under 18's cos after this age you are supposed to be an adult and capable of looking after yourself.
