The sardonic tone wasn't a statement that I could do better as much as they let an all-star run off and cut a veteran replacement to rely on an untested rookie.

Yes I agree. I love the Patriots and don't want to put them down but that just doesn't make sense.

Have you seen the guy kick. I have, he has a tremendous leg, pretty acurate too. If you can match that, and get past security at their practice facility, by all means give it a shot.
By the way, using your logic, I should try out for RB for the saints because Reggie Bush hasn't started anymore games than me.
