they got rid of leo mizzoni (sp) the pitching coach...his rocking back an forth was the braves good luck charm

I don't even know if rockin' Leo could have helped the Braves' pitching staff. He hasn't done much for the O's. Leo was just lucky to have Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz for a lot of years. They were just naturally good pitchers. Andruw Jones only has 29 home runs, Chipper has 19. I think John Schuerholz got out GM'd by Omar Minaya. As an Astros fan, it's great to not see the Braves in the playoffs. Of course the 'Stros won't be in either...we stink.

The conference? You mean the division? Well that's what happens over time when you lose Maddux, Glavine, Leo Mazzone (pitching coach), and some of your players are going on 40 yrs old (John Smoltz), and when Chipper Jones goes on the DL every other week. They had a nice run now it's time to start over.

they blew it this was not their year they needed Greg Maddux they needed more run support from Chipper Jones, and Andruw Jones

I think is might be either Bonds,Robinson,Mays, or Jackson,Griffey,or Griffey jr. because they are/were all great players.
