It depends what school it's from, for starters. Top-tier schools make it much, much more likely you'll be courted heavily. Whether you get an offer (or the kind of offer from the kind of company you want) is still more dependent on the interview! Contrary to an earlier answerer, it doesn't guarantee a job or a minimum salary!

It at least buys you some entreé with HR when the job you're applying for requires an MBA and/or analytical skills. It often buys a little extra respect (though this is more school-based) from potential employers, too.

The rest... you have to make happen!

It not what the degree holds for you, what matters is who you know. You could have graduated summa *** laude, but if no one is willing to give you the chance to prove yourself, then you're unemployed.
