I think Hugh Laurie is the perfect choice to play Dr House. He's really good. Is there any other actor you think would make a better Dr House?

Maybe a younger John Astin (Adams Family Night Court). All the same I really think Hugh Laurie is awesome perfect for the part,hard to believe he started in English comedy. He hides the accent well ,not that he says a lot in words O_-

I didn't think this question would be so hard...I agree that he has made it his, and he's definitely perfect in the role.
I was having some fun imagining the WORST possible Dr. House - like maybe Jim Carrey, or Danny DeVito?

Oh God, please, no more Denis Leary. Laurie was a great choice for this role - I don't know any one who plays the bitter card better than he does.

I don't think there is a better person to play house he is crazy,funny and smart what else do people need to enjoy good tv.
