Last month we tried to concieve with only guessing when I was ovulating. But this month, we have tried everything. We have had sex every 2 days all month long. I ovulated on August 22, and we had sex like 4 times over two days. We have tried missonary position, putting my legs to my chest right after sex, and have had an orgasim at the same time as or after my husband. What are my chances of becoming pregnant?!?

Just relax! You are doing the right things, but remember to have fun! Sex is not just about getting pregnant and you should never look at it that way! You might also try "doggy style" with your butt in the air and your shoulders down on the bed. This will help the little swimmers get into the right spot!
Stressing out about having a baby can effect your fertility as well as your husband's sperm count! My husband and I tried for 3-4 years and were told that because of his sperm count (less than 800,000 and normal is 40 million) there would be no way we could get pregnant on our own. We had decided to wait a few months before doing IUI and that is when we got pregnant. A check on my husband's sperm count and it was normal! Relax! It will happen when the time is right and God is ready!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You need to relax. Try for a few months, and if you don't get pregnant, have yourselves tested. Have hubby's sperm count checked, and you have a blood test to see if you are ovulating (just becuase you get a period every month does not mean that you ovulated) you can have a blood test done on the 21st day of your cycle to check your pregesterone levels. If that's ok...then go for a HSG and they can check for blockages

Have you talked with your doctor?
Stress and infertility (on either partners side) are usually the two big reasons for not conceiving.

All the fancy positions and multiple orgasms won't take seed (pardon the pun), until all factors are checked out.

Good luck!

you could be but you can't do it that often. You need to do it every other day and let the sperm regernate. That takes 36 hours. So for excample my husband and i did it tuesday night and tonight is the night that we are supposed to.

See a doctor. Obviously you don't know about conceiving a child which makes me wonder if you should conceive at this point in your life.
At least you are having sex so enjoy!!!!
