There is nothing special about a black hole. A black hole is simply something that is so dense that its event horizon lies outside of itself. Let me explain.
The force of gravity between two objects can be calculated by multiplying the two objects' masses together, dividing by the distance between them, and then multiplying by a constant. Since you're dividing by distance, the force increases as the two objects get closer. In fact, the force rises asymptotically (at a very rapidly increasing rate) as the two objects get closer. If the objects get close enough, then the force between them gets so great that they could not be pulled apart even if one of them was traveling at the speed of light.
However, there is an upshot to this. The distance used to calculate the force of gravity between two objects is the distance between their centers of mass. For the gravitational force between two objects to be sufficient to trap light, their centers of mass have to be very close together. However, usually the objects' surfaces hit each other long before they get that close, and then the normal force between their two surfaces prevents their centers of mass from getting any closer. In order to have a black hole (an object whose gravitational field can trap light), you need the maximum distance at which the object's gravitational field is strong enough to trap light (which we call the black hole's event horizon) to be far enough away so that other objects can come within this distance without hitting the black hole's surface. For this to happen, the black hole needs to be both small (so that its surface is close to its center of mass), and massive (to produce a strong gravitational field). In a word, a black hole needs to be very dense.
If you fall into a black hole, and somehow are not killed, you would simply hit the surface of the black hole and be trapped there forever. Nobody could see you, because any light you produce or reflect would not escape the black hole's gravitational field.
There is speculation that matter sucked into a black hole gets spewed out in a "white hole" that constantly spits out matter in an alternate universe. Or alternatively, that when a black hole forms, a new universe is created from the matter that the black hole sucks in. This is all purely speculative, and as nobody has found any "white holes" in our own universe, I'm not very willing to believe these notions myself.

a black hole is not a hole like you might have at the bottom of your sink, that drains into something. it is more like the sun, it is a body that has a center. so to answer the question, there is no "other end" to it, just as there is no "other end" of the sun. a better question might be what is the nature of the extremely dense matter at the center of a black hole.
