Because they start wars we don't support? Because out of all the axis of evil countries they go against the one least likely to harm us? Because Democrats think Bin Laden is more of a danger than Sadaam? We were attacked while Bush was in office, so we're safer only because there hasn't been another? How many years did it take for that one, why is a few years something to pat yourself on the back for? How about our borders, that make you feel safe NEOCONS?

I think the Republicans are trying to judge it by the amount of noise they make, and the sums of money they spend on it, not the results. I see only more angry possiblke terrorists, and no dead or caught Bin Laden.

To Calebsmom, does it still count as doing something if it's the wrong thing? Bush admitted the war in Iraq was a mistake and then said he would do it all again! That doesn't make sense! And how is it better doing the wrong thing that nothing at all? Now you get nothing done and you look foolish.

Calebsmam, ok I agree with making an attempt. However when you admit your attempt was a mistake (and yes he did say this, I'm not making it up) and then say you would do the same, that the issue is created. I'm not against war if it's for the right reasons. Bush claimed this was a war on terror. There is no link from 9/11 to Iraq, none has been proven although it has been mentioned several times. Al-Queda, which has been proud of it's attacks, claims nothing in Iraq. Why would you admit to a mistake that cost thousands of troops lives and then say you would repeat that mistake and kill those troops all over again? I'm not saying this is all Bush's fault, far from it, but when you do the WRONG THING, it is worse than nothing at all. He couldn't have know it was wrong before (stupid, but we weren't expecting this long or this size, no one was). When you admit it's a mistake, it becomes wrong, when you claim that you would make that mistake again, it is worse than doing nothing. doing nothing would have saved thousands of American troops and many Iraqi ones as well.

I do agree with one thing though, neither side is better than the other. Get all the crooked ones out and let's move forward. Give America back to her people!

Because the Republicans actually do something, they don't just talk about it.

Battousai - yes, it is better to do something, whether it be wrong or not, than do nothing at all. Just because one person thinks something is wrong, doesn't necessarily make it wrong. I have never heard President Bush say going to war was a mistake. I would ten times rather have a leader that at least takes a stand and fall on his face, than to never take a stand at all. To each his own opinion.

For nearly five years they have used terrorism to scare the American public. Remember just before 2004 election the terror alert was raised on hoax of threat? Republicans wrap themselves in the flag call themselves only ones who are Christians and patriots.

"Republicrats" are all the same, they just talk out of different sides of their garbage mouths. Republicans have destroyed our nation's reputation as a world leader and global peacekeeper, all because they believe conflicts can all be resolved with enough guns and ammo.
Democrats will do no better when it comes to foreign affairs. The country needs new, fresh, innovative leadership - something you won't get from the two stagnating parties that have such a stranglehold on our political system. -RKO-
