From my point of view, 'time' is just our way of saying 'dependancy', which means it is probably eternal, if not in our own universe. Also, relativity says time slows down at high speeds and high gravities, so depending on where the aliens live their timeflow might be slightly slower or faster than ours.

When space (and matter) are eliminated, time is merely a function of thought. For example, if theere was no mattrer and teh created universe ceased, dissolved, dissipated - you as anti-matter would exist.

Time then would only exist to you as a functio of thought which is related to the mental plane of your anti-matter existence. Once you transcend the mental plane, and break through into the spiritual plane then the mind too has been destroyed and with that time.

In some religions, it is such a conquest of time which happens on transcending the mental existence and on reaching the spiritula plane that is often called liberation or nirvana.

Interesting, science draws a parallel with einsteisn theory of relativity. One of the interesting facts that is often overlooked abt this theory according to richard feynman is that from the point of view of light, you would obviously be travelling at the speed of light, then the entire universe condenses to a point mass and you would because of such contraction to a point mass exist everywhere in the universe, everytime at all the time.

And whats more, time itself cease to exist at the speed of light!

As for the aliens, I really dont care abt them for now.

Motion of light does not fit the definition of a moving wave? Why?

See my answer to the above question. Clocks do not "measure time", they create intervals or changes and count them. Time is just a name for observed changes and motion, and is entirely relative to the region. However the idea of the "now" is universal, and provides a realting point to all observers. There is more to this idea than appears on the surface.

I would guess it's Enternal. The idea of time ever having a begining or an end is sort of beyond comprehension in my opinion.

Aliens could have a varying time scale then us. At least its possible according to the Theory of Relativity. (Which is still a theory, not written in stone)

Time is both constant and eternal. Your perception is relative, in more ways than one. A fly, for example, sees you in slow motion (That's what makes them so hard to swat). The laws of motion also change for objects at different speeds, i.e. a clock appraching the speed of light will seem (to us) to slow down, but that just means that we are passing through time at different rates. The fourth dimension is something you move through just like the other three, and it is just as unchangeable.

Time is relative...and more importantly time is a construct of the human psyche, so depending on your frame of reference the chance is very good that our neighboring aliens will experience it differently from us (also look up special relativity)

Time, as you measure it on your planet, is different from here.
On my homeworld, there is only "now".

As events and circumstances occur in "now", it appears that the residents of my world are moving through time, or that time is passing.
However, this is only illusion or maya, since nothing ever exists than "now".

The illusion of the past is only memory of past events or circumstances, stored and recalled in the minds of my species. It is the only indication that there may have been something before "now".

What my species perceives as the future is only a fantasy or speculation inside the same minds. There is no real evidence that there will ever be anything after "now".

Only "now" can be experienced, felt, or observed.
The events and circumstances of the past and future cannot be experienced, felt, or observed.
Only memories of the past and fantasies of the future can be experienced, felt, or observed.
Memories and fantasies have no substance.
They are thought.

There is only "now".

Now...
now...
now...

How is it on your planet?

Time is based on how long it takes the planet to revolve (day) and how long it takes the planet to orbit the sun (year). Another planet might have different durations to do either.
Time will stop for that planet when the planet cannot do either for any reason.
